I'm just under 2,000 miles on my Edison bike and I've only had to bring it in ONCE for repairs (which were due to a flat tire, not the bike itself). I absolutely love my bike and Edison staff, who I have gotten to know through group rides and living in the Kirkwood area. Extremely fair price + quality of bicycle + great staff and service = HUGE WIN. I recommend Edison to everyone and their mother in the ATL area at every chance I get!

We've had our Edison bikes for about 2 1/2 months now and we absolutely love them! We ride at least 2-3 times a week and can't wait for the cooler weather & ride even more. We have the cargo model with 2 kid seats for our 1 year old & 4 year old and the white model with a basket for all kiddos stuff. The kids love going on rides! My favorite is when someone stops and asks me about them. I love telling people all about the wonderful locally owned business. If you are thinking about getting one, just do it! You won't regret it.

My daughter was adamant about getting a bike from Edison Electric Bike Co especially after researching the company and getting to meet the owner Ryan. She uses it for college and pretty much everything. She put on over 700 miles her first two semesters. I got a chance to take it for a spin for four or five days when I was visiting. I rode it down to the Edison bike company for a check up and Ryan the owner took more than good care of my daughters bike and us as customers. Extremely quality individual that loves his bike, business, and his customers. He went over and above. These bikes are radical And robust. I weigh 205 pounds and the bike felt great. I love when I discover a good company that deserves a 5 star review. Thanks guys, I highly recommend.

It took me over 7 years to pull the trigger on this bike and once I bought it, I regretted not purchasing it sooner almost immediately. I always thought that it would make me lazy since I really enjoy pedaling non-electric bikes. The fact is that it actually extends my range, speed and reduces the time it takes me to get to my destination without sweating like a track star. The Edison bike has significantly improved my access to other parts of the city without using a car. Grocery store runs, visiting the kids schools when parking would be a challenge or just running out to grab a bite to eat, the Edison bike has truly made it all easier. Other bikes I find are much more bulky where this one is slim and easy on the eyes. Don’t take my world for it though. Go by the shop and take one for a test ride to see the magic for yourself!!!

I have been thinking about buying an e-bike for a awhile now and test drove a bunch. They all felt like an electric mopeds to me. I came on this one and as soon as I got on it I knew I had found what I was looking for. NO COMPROMISES. It is a first class bicycle FIRST that has been designed to accommodate and electric motor. Light and fast with plenty of power when you want/need it. I can get on it and go for a ride without any assist. But the assist makes going for a long ride really easy BUT I still get some exercise. I'm 6-3 and 240 #'s and it fits me well. On my first ride I went 27 miles and I had power left when I got home. Top end was mid 20's with me peddling, low 20's just holding down the throttle on the flat. Before I bought it I called into the shop with a few questions and they there were super helpful on a few question like what lock I should get and that kind of thing texting me links to stuff. If you want a first class electric bike this is it.

Great people, awesome bike, and stellar service! You can’t go wrong with Edison! Highly recommend this company. I got my bike about 15 months ago and I LOVE IT. I‘ve made new friends, ridden new roads, and I just love being out and about on my beloved bike. If you are considering an e-bike, just get this one. You won’t regret it!

WORDS FROM RYAN

WHEN YOU BUY LOCAL, YOU BUILD A BETTER CITY. At Edison, we assemble bikes in Atlanta — not just because we live here, but because we believe in this place. Its grit. Its grind. Its people. And when someone chooses to spend their hard-earned dollars with us, we don’t see a sale — we see trust. We honor it.

Buying local doesn’t just mean skipping delays or getting faster support. It means your money stays close to home — fueling living-wage jobs, supporting committed neighbors with names and faces, and keeping your dollars circulating through the same streets you ride.

It means your bike wasn’t pulled off a warehouse shelf on the other side of the world. It was finished by hand in a workshop down the road. It means when something breaks, we fix it. When you have a question, we answer it. And when you roll out grinning after a test ride, we celebrate — yes, with an actual happy dance.

But most of all, buying local means you're part of something bigger. It’s cleaner air on your commute. It’s fewer cars in your neighborhood. It’s a signal that better cities don’t come from billion-dollar apps or anonymous factories — they come from small decisions, made with heart, over and over again.

This isn’t just a bike. It’s a vote for the city you want to live in.
